Compare Markdown files

Open the older file, then tap ••• at the top right and compare, and pick the newer one. Rapier shows what was added, removed and changed, and a moved paragraph shows as a move, not as a deletion and an insertion. Nothing is uploaded.

How to compare two Markdown files

1. Tap ••• at the top right, then open, and pick the older .md file.
2. Tap ••• again, then compare, and pick the newer file.
3. Step through the changes with the arrows at the top. Close the comparison to keep editing.

Yes. Rapier is free and open source, with no account, ads or tracking.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Rapier works in your browser. Local editing uploads nothing.

Does it show moved text?

Yes. A paragraph that moved shows as a move, with any words changed inside it.
