Word to Markdown

Tap ••• at the top right, then open, and pick a .docx file. Rapier turns it into an editable Markdown page: headings, lists, tables, links and pictures. Save, or Share then Markdown, gives you the .md file, with the pictures inside it.

How to convert Word to Markdown

1. Tap ••• at the top right, then open, and pick a .docx file.

Yes. Rapier is free and open source, with no account, ads or tracking.

Is my document uploaded?

No. Rapier works in your browser. Local editing uploads nothing.

Can I also open a PDF?

Yes. A PDF comes in as text where it can. PDF import is a free plug-in.
