PDF to Markdown

Tap ••• at the top right, then open, and pick a .pdf file. Choose Editable text and Rapier turns the pages into Markdown you can edit, with the pictures. Save writes the .md file. The PDF is read on your device: nothing is uploaded.

How to convert PDF to Markdown

1. Tap ••• at the top right, then open, and pick a .pdf file.
2. Choose Editable text, then Import. The first time, Rapier downloads its free PDF reader once.
3. Check the reading order, then tap Save for the .md file.

Is it free?

Yes. Rapier is free and open source, with no account, ads or tracking.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF reader runs in your browser.

Does it keep the pictures?

Yes. Pictures come in inside the Markdown file. Choose Page images to keep each page exactly as it looks.

Does a PDF made in Rapier come back exactly?

Yes. A PDF Rapier exports carries its Markdown, and opening it gives back the same file.
